🇨🇲 Cameroon’s Next Generation: U15 Lions Continue Preparations for Azerbaijan 2026

Yaoundé, Cameroon — Cameroon’s U15 Lions are back in camp at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza, Yaoundé, as preparations continue for the FIFA U15 World Cup Azerbaijan 2026, scheduled for October 22–31.

Led by head coach Franck Cédric Onana, the young Lions have entered their second internal training camp, with the technical staff focusing on tactical development, physical conditioning and team cohesion.

A Platform for Emerging Talent

For players at this crucial stage of their development, every training session represents more than preparation for a tournament. It is an opportunity to learn, compete, improve and demonstrate their potential.

The U15 level is particularly important in the development pathway, as young players begin to experience higher levels of competition while developing the technical, tactical, physical and mental qualities required for the next stage of their careers.

With the FIFA U15 World Cup providing an international platform, the tournament could also offer these emerging talents an opportunity to attract attention beyond Cameroon.
